I am a ballroom dancer. 
I made the touring team at my school but to stay on I need to be improving in the “toned” department by spring and I also am getting married soon.
I used to be a very active person, but I have let poor eating and lifestyle choices get in the way.  Join me in my struggle to get healthy without focusing too much on looks alone.

sure.  Supposedly I&amp;#8217;ve lost 4 pounds in the past week.  I feel like if I lost that much weight it should probably show a little.  I suppose a lot of it could be water weight and I could have been at a real high last week.&lt;/p&gt;

What variations are there? haha, I didnt know there were sprint kinds! haha :)</title><description>&lt;p&gt;Sprint triathlons are sort of the mini versions of triathlons - everything’s a lot shorter.  Then there’s olympic, half, and full, etc.  For me sprint length didn’t require too much training other than maybe the swim because it’s only 12ish mile bike and 3ish mile run.  If you’re a doing sprint I would mostly advise just staying active and practicing the biking on a road bike, not a regular bike.  Training for something longer will take more work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I actually followed this program pretty closely but started in at around week 7 because I didn’t have that much time.  The website also has tons of helpful tips. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Also, I ate all three meals and they were relatively healthy.  This might sound a little silly to most but this is one of the bigger problems with my diet.  I get so busy that I don&amp;#8217;t eat regularly.  Then when I do it&amp;#8217;s large amounts of the wrong stuff.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I just realized there are about 200 days before my younger brother comes back from overseas (beginning of November).  We were really close growing up.  I was always borderline too thin growing up and he helped me through the teasing in high school.  He also helped me be okay with my body when I gained a lot of weight because of a hormone problem. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I want to surprise him by being back down to a happy, healthy weight when he gets home.  I think I can lose around 20 lbs in the next 200 days.  NO EXCUSES!
